SysEleven certified for Sovereign Cloud Stack SCS

Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure provider SysEleven is now certified for the Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS). The company announced this at the second SCS Summit, which is taking place today in Berlin. The certification makes it much easier for SysEleven customers to migrate their workloads from other SCS-compliant cloud providers to SysEleven. SysEleven is a wholly owned subsidiary of secunet.

“Due to the focus on open-source-based, standards-compliant cloud technologies that was established years ago, achieving compatibility of SysEleven’s Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) with SCS did not require any changes to the core components,” explains Jens Plogsties, SysEleven’s CTO.

“With SCS certification, SysEleven is reinforcing its support for the German Administrative Cloud Strategy (DVS), with which public sector organizations want to achieve digital sovereignty,” says Norbert Müller, Managing Director of SysEleven and Vice President Cloud Solutions at secunet.

SysEleven is one of the most experienced German experts for Managed Kubernetes. This makes it the ideal partner in IT modernization for the public sector and companies towards a reliable, modern, innovative, sovereign private and public cloud infrastructure. With SCS-certified cloud and “MetaKube” Kubernetes solutions, customers can implement scalable projects with full GDPR protection. The fair and transparent pricing structure contains no hidden costs and thus ensures a low total cost of ownership (TCO). Experienced cloud and Kubernetes experts advise on cloud-native adaptation, and SysEleven also offers its clients individual contract options and personal contacts.

About Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS)

Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS) is a network of existing and prospective providers of standardized sovereign cloud and container infrastructure. They have the shared goal of jointly advancing the definition, implementation, and operation of a fully open, federated, and interoperable platform. By working together, the platform supports a healthy ecosystem for software development/operations teams (DevOps teams). Thus it strengthens the progress of digitization in Europe without risking loss of control over technology and data.
