Curriculum vitae

Jan Thyen has been a member of the Management Board of Giesecke+Devrient GmbH (G+D) since May 2024. In addition to his duties as Group CFO, he is responsible for Group controlling, external accounting, performance management, treasury and insurance, risk management, taxes, purchasing and property.

Mr Thyen started as Head of M & A for the G+D Group in 2010. In the course of 2011, Mr Thyen moved to the Mobile Security division, where he was responsible for several commercial functions. Mr Thyen has been a member of the Management Board and CFO of Mobile Security since 2017. As Group Senior Vice President, he was responsible for strategy and corporate development as well as mergers & acquisitions for the entire G+D Group from April 2021.

Before joining G+D, Mr Thyen worked as Head of Corporate Development and M&A at MDAX-listed Evotec AG in Hamburg and as Director Equity Investments at WestLB AG in Düsseldorf.

Mr Thyen studied economics and completed commercial training as a savings bank clerk.
