Curriculum vitae
From 1984 to 1986, Dr Zattler worked in auditing at Arthur Andersen. After completing his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen, Dr Zattler joined the Daimler-Benz Group in 1988, where he held various management positions within the finance division. In 1991 he moved to debis AG, Berlin, and in 1993 to debitel GmbH & Co KG, Stuttgart. From 1998 until his move to Giesecke+Devrient GmbH (G+D), Dr Zattler was CFO of MCC smart within the Mercedes Car Group.
Dr Peter Zattler was a member of the Management Board of G+D from 1 July 2001. As Chief Financial Officer, he was in charge of the areas of controlling, treasury, accounting and taxes. In January 2006, Dr Zattler also took over the company’s Human Resources division as Director of Labour Relations. As part of his planned retirement, Dr Zattler left the Management Board of G+D on 30 April 2024.
Dr Zattler studied business administration at the University of Munich and received his doctorate (Dr oec) from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
